TRAINING – Critical Fiscal Year-End Guidelines
Does fiscal year-end confuse you with all the in and out transactions? Do you want to understand why there are unusual balances? Then this training is for you.
This class will discuss the fiscal year-end processes (dates and timelines), budget responsibilities and reporting tools, unusual balances, accrual entry accounting, some specifics on error correction and research, and processing area requirements including the closing calendar. It will also provide an overview of the year-end processes (Banner closeout, cash closing, encumbrance roll and final operating account close).
AUDIENCE – All Budget Unit Directors (BUDS) and anyone with financial responsibility at Old Dominion University.
There are currently two sessions scheduled. Please sign up for the one that fits your schedule.
Class size is limited to 40. Class will be held in Spong Hall, Room 2402 (training lab).
