The Office of Intercultural Relations presents Queer Media Spring 2016 Lecture Series:

Advocates & Allies

James Lynnhaven/York River Rooms, Webb University Center

Dr. Michael P. Bibler, Associate Professor at Louisiana State University teaches writing and gender and sexuality literature courses. His books, Cotton’s Queer Relations and Just Below South focus on queer culture in the North American South. Currently, his research focuses on queer media as it pertains to music and bands. Dr. Bibler will analyze and share the work of the alternative rock band, B-52.
