Your voice. Your story. Live!

 

Monday, April 4, 2016

Open Mic | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Strome Entrepreneurial Center

 

Open mic sign up begins at 5 p.m.

Performed works should focus on identity, LGBT culture, or diversity

Each writer will be given 3 -5 minutes to share their work

Featured performances from the Old Dominion University Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing Program

 

Special Guest Reading: Janet Peery

Associate Professor, Old Dominion University

Peery is a short story writer and novelist whose works have been recognized and published across a number of platforms. Peery is a National Book Award finalist and currently teaches within the Old Dominion University Mater of Fine Arts program.
