EARTH DAY: Share and Celebrate this Friday, April 22
All academic programs, departments, research centers, campus offices, student organizations, individual researchers and teams, and community organizations who are taking action to build a healthy sustainable environment, address climate change and sea level rise, and protect our Earth for future generations are encouraged to take a few hours next Friday, April 22nd from 12-2pm on Kaufman Mall to celebrate, share, and promote your important efforts and initiatives at ODU's Earth Day Festival.
Our campus community is engaging, researching, and acting on issues of climate change, conservation, sustainability, and environmental issues in diverse and innovative ways, and we invite you to take a break from this hard work and showcase your accomplishments.

Additional Earth Day Celebration events include a Glow-in-the-Dark Bike Ride and Adopt-a-Stream volunteer opportunities on April 21st, and getting out to participate in Viriginia's BioBlitz at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge (transportation provided!).
