Shakespeare in Concert: Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream with ODU Symphony Orchestra

Hear how the great composers of the past have interpreted the master plays of Shakespeare. Featuring two symphonic poems based on Hamlet by Franz Liszt and Edward MacDowell, plus the famous overture and incidental music from Felix Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Paul S. Kim, music director and conductor. Also featuring Oregonian guest conductor Lance Inouye from Lewis & Clark College. This is the final performance of Old Dominion University's weeklong Shakespeare 400 Years After: A Public Event.
