Shakespearean Sunday

A plethora of posies from the Bard's bouquet...

1 pm - As We Like It: Music Inspired by Shakespeare. Directed by Brian Nedvin, ODU Opera performs scenes from a wide variety of Shakespeare-derived shows.

4 pm- Henry V. Directed by Justin McLawhorn, the Hampton Roads Summer Theatre performs this classic about leadership and bravery. "Once more, into the breach!"

4 pm - Two Gentlemen of Verona. Ricardo Melendez directs the Governor's School for the Arts in this classic fun Shakespearean comedy.

7:30 pm - Titus Andronicus. Lee Smith and Katherine Hammond direct Warehouse of Theatre and ODURep in a gory and unsettlingly comedic reminder that revenge has no winners. 

Tickets are $15 at the door or http://ODUArtsTix.com, Two Gentlemen is free and open to the public.

Goode Theatre on Monarch Way at 46th St for all except Two Gentlemen, which plays at the Brock Commons, outdoors on 47th St and Monarch Way.
