Web Conferencing (WebEx): Engaging Students
In this workshop, you’ll learn new methods for incorporating web conferencing into your courses. You can use web conferences for classes or small groups, or to hold online office hours or review sessions, or to share presentations or the talks of guest speakers, and for recorded instructional materials. In this workshop, you’ll identify one or more web conferencing activities to implement in one or more of your courses, create an online meeting and learn to provide access information to your students, and use features such as sharing your computer screen and recording a short session.
The workshop will be available, as well, via live two-way video, for instructors who cannot participate on the main campus.
When: Wednesday, April 20 from 10am-noon
Where: Gornto 101
