TAKE YOUR STUDENTS ABROAD FOR THE ULTIMATE GLOBAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE!!

ODU faculty members play a critical role in student learning and success, both in and out of the classroom, whether the classroom is here on Hampton Boulevard, in another location within the U.S., or overseas. Students want study abroad and study away (domestic, US-based study) programs led by ODU faculty!

The Office of Study Abroad would like to invite faculty to submit proposals to lead Faculty-led Study Abroad or Study Away Programs for either Spring break or Summer 2017. Informational Sessions for interested faculty will be held at the following days/times/locations:

Wednesday, April 20: 10:00-11:00am in Dragas Hall 2008

Friday, April 29: 11:00am-12:00pm in Dragas Hall 2008

These Info Sessions will cover important topics such as the course and program proposal process, the role of the faculty leader(s), and other related benefits. All faculty members are welcome to attend. Attached, please find a copy of the 2017 Faculty-led Study Abroad/Study Away Programs proposal form.

The proposal deadline for 2017 programs is June 1, 2016.

Please contact Steve Bell (sdbell@odu.edu) or Beth Parker (b2parker@odu.edu) or call the Office of Study Abroad at 683-5378 if you have questions or would like additional information.
