Charles the Lion Dog

  As Charles the Lion Dog sits incarcerated in the " big house " aka the Norfolk City Pound, you can read of his earlier

adventures in the three part childrens series that the Village Bookstore has on sale.

  Written by Professor Joseph C. Daniel, former Dean of the College of Sciences here at ODU, the three works are great

children's books illustrated by local childrens artist Pamela S. Barcita.

Don't let the headlines mislead you, Charles is a great Ambassador of Goodwill  wherever he goes- whether loose on the streets
