ODU NEW MUSIC ENSEMBLE PERFORMS ON TUESDAY, APRIL 5

Old Dominion University's New Music Ensemble will present a stylistically varied program entitled "Contrasts" on Tuesday, April 5, @ 7:30 PM at ODU's Chandler Recital Hall.  Works include Sonata Latino by Mike Mower for flute and piano, Glint by Roshanne Etezady for clarinet and alto saxophone, everyone@universe.existence by Robert Dick for flute and electronics, Duo Sonata by Gregory Wanamaker for clarinet and alto saxophone, and Sonata for cello and piano by Vernon Purdue Davis.  Musicians for the performance are Tiffany Sitton, flute; Kevin Clasen, clarinet; Benjamin Glosser, saxophone; Malachi Brown, cello; and Nichole Dorobanov, piano.  The ensemble is directed by Dr. Andrey Kasparov, who will also perform a piano part in Sonata Latino and deliver a pre-concert talk.
