Got Black Currency?

Black Currency Day, Tuesday April 5th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Webb Center

In celebration of Black Americans living today and to bring awareness and attention to the racial disparities that still persist, even 153 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, 62 years after Brown vs. Board of Education, and 52 years after the Civil Rights Act, ODU students and members of the Hampton Roads Community are holding “Black Currency Day.”

Together, we want to reflect on the progress and success of the Black figures around our country who have done and are doing so much good in society, while informing our community about prominent issues that continue to challenge Black Americans.

Please join us in the Webb Center on Tuesday, April 5th for games, culture, trivia, and more!  We challenge you to come be current and to contribute to change.
