Got Black Currency

Got Black Currency?

Join us for Black Currency Day: April 5th 12-2pm

Webb Center, North Mall

In celebration of Black Americans living today and to bring awareness to persisting racial disparities, we are holding Black Currency Day. Students from the College of Education, 90 5th graders from Jacox Elementary School, and 70 ODU student mentors from across the campus are coming together for this special event. Our theme is "We have a dream!"  We hope you and your students can help us dream. We will reflect on the progress made toward racial equity and to mark the sucess of Black Americans who are currently paving the way forward for others. ODU Black Faculty will be recognized in a special photo exhibit (and with cupcakes!)
