ODU Festival of Quebecois Poetry March 17 - Day Two

March 16 and 17, 2016  -  ODU Virginia Beach presents a two day ODU French Poetry Festival featuring Quebecois poetry.

This two day ODU French Poetry Festival is cosponsored by ODU Virginia Beach, College of Arts and Letters, and Maison de la Poésie-Montreal, featuring distinguished Canadian Quebecois poets Francois Rioux and Sylvain Campeau.

On March 16, there will be two poetry readings held in the Lecture Hall, room 244. The first reading will be given from noon to 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception and book signing. The second reading will be from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Day two, March 17, there will be a panel discussion on translations from 12:30 to 2 p.m.  That evening: from 6 – 8:30pm, there will be a film screening of “Miron: un home revenue d’en dehors du monde” with English subtitles. This will be followed by a discussion. Refreshments, popcorn and chocolate will be served.

These events are free and open to the public.
