College of Health Sciences Interprofessional Education Day 2016

Brian Boyle will tell his incredible story of triumph after a serious car accident.  He will illuminate his experience; that of a patient in a complex and fast paced health care system in need of effective and compassionate interprofessional teams.  Following his keynote, faculty and students will engage in interprofessional small group work with a foucus on health professions' role and responsibilites as well as teamwork.  Learning will be grounded in safety and quality framework.
