Scopus, the largest citation & abstract database of peer-reviewed literature is here!

ODU Libraries currently has access to Scopus! Scopus is a collection of citations and abstracts of peer-reviewed literature from over 5,000 publishers. It also contains tools to track, analyze, and visualize YOUR research. Join us to learn how to use these tools to conduct your research and capture your research impact!

11:00-12:00 General Overview of Scopus. Learn to search for documents by author, journal, and institution. Set up an individual account in the database to store your information and receive alerts.

12:00-12:30 Refreshments provided by Elsevier

12:30-1:30 Scopus Journal Rankings and Metrics, including Altmetrics and Mendeley metrics. Analyize authour output, discover your H-index and who is citing you, enhance your reseracher profile and built on your ORCID researcher ID.
