Opportunity to Present on the Topic of Diversity
at the Faculty Summer Institute on Teaching and Learning
Here’s your chance to submit a proposal to join a nationally award-winning college president as a member of the Faculty of the Institute.
ODU’s Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) will offer its Faculty Summer Institute on Teaching and Learning: “Faces of Diversity across our Global Campus”, on May 17-18 in Ted Constant Convocation Center.
CLT urges all faculty and administrators who would like to lead workshops, be panelists, or present posters on the topic of diversity to submit their proposals to become Faculty of the Institute.
Faculty of the Institute will join keynote speaker Freeman A. Hrabowski, III, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by TIME (2012) and one of America’s Best Leaders by U.S. News and World Report (2008). View his TED Talk “4 pillars of college success in science” for inspiration.
To learn more about the Faculty Summer Institute or to propose to join Dr. Hrabowski and lead a session at the Institute, simply Submit Your Proposal by March 21.
