CCPO & MARI Seminar Series - March 14, 2016

The next CCPO and MARI seminar will be presented on Monday, March 14 by Dr. Sophie Nowicki from the Cyrospheric Sciences Laboratory, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Dr. Nowicki studies the dynamics of ice sheets and connections to global climate and sea level.  She combines remote sensing and numerical models to analyze changes in ice sheet mass and contributions to sea level rise.  Her seminar will focus on projections of changes in the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets.  Dr. Nowicki's seminar is relevant to the sea level rise initiative at Old Dominion University.
