CCPO & MARI Seminar Series - Feb. 8, 2016

The next CCPO and MARI seminar will be presented on Monday, Feb. 8 by Dr. Brad Murray from the Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University. Dr. Murray's research focuses on Earth surface processes and patterns. His recent research is focused on coastal and nearshore systems and uses techniques from nonlinear dynamics and complex systems analysis to understand change in these environments. His seminar will provide results from a recent analysis of shoreline changes along the Carolina coastline and discuss how this is linked to economic decisions related to shoreline stabilization.
