New Titles @ Village Bookstore

The Village Bookstore continues to receive many of the new titles that are coming out for the Spring season.

Three of those works include:

ON MY OWN  by Diane Rehm.  Anyone who listens to NPR via our local WHRV station will be very familiar with Diane Rehm and her probing interviews with " everyone from pundits to poets to Presidents."

100 Million Years of Food: What Our Ancestors Ate and Why It Matters Today  by Stephen Le. One of the reviews written about this title note the author gives"...a nimble hybrid that is equal parts travel memoir and informed speculation about the biology of human nutrition..."  Kirkus Reviews

wild by nature: From Siberia to Australia, Three Years Alone in the Wilderness on Foot  by Sarah Marquis. The title from this National Geographic Explorer pretty much sums up the nature of her book but to give you a better mental picture here are some statistics.  10,000 miles on foot, 6 countries, 8 pairs of hiking boots, 3000 cups of tea and 1000 days and nights.

These three new works and many more are now available at the Village Bookstore.
