Meet Soprano Marie-Eve Munger!

As part of this semester's Office of Study Abroad and Department of Foreign Languages "Quebec Culture Speaker Series," all are invited to listen to world-famous Quebecois soprano Marie-Eve Munger speak about her experiences as a singer and an actress in Montreal and internationally. She has garnered much notoriety for her singing with the National Orchestra of Montreal and will be making her Virginia debut with the Virginia Opera's presentation of  Charles Gounod's Romeo and Juliet which will be performed Feb 5, 7 and 9 at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk.

She will be speaking in Constant 2099 from 5:45-7:00 on Monday Feb. 08. This is in conjunction with a 2 week study abroad initiative partially subsidized by the Quebecois Government for ODU students to study French and Quebecois culture during ODU's "maymester" (May 9-23, 2016)... For more information either about the Quebec Studies initiative or Ms. Munger's talk on Monday, feel free to contact Dr. Peter Schulman at 683-3323 or by email.
