New personal mileage rate effective January 1, 2017

New Mileage Rate – personal vehicle use (effective January 1, 2017)

Effective for travel incurred beginning January 1, 2017, the mileage rate will be 53.5 cents per mile, down from the 54 cents per mile rate in effect January 1, 2016, when daily mileage is less than 200 miles or when a cost benefit analysis indicates that using a personal vehicle is cheaper than using the Enterprise Rent‐A‐Car contract. For mileage 200 miles or more per day when no cost benefit analysis is provided, the rate of 24.6 cents per mile remains the same.
