Science Cafe at the Slover Library

Slover Library Foundation has teamed up with the Physics Department for a quarterly "Science Cafe!" Come hear from Dr. Sebastian Kuhn as he explains Einstein and Sailing. Dr. Kuhn will be discussing a chapter he recently wrote for the book “Philosophy and Sailing”. He’ll  discuss how something “esoteric” as Einstein’s special and general theories of relativity have applications and analogies with the ancient art of sailing. There will be snacks, drinks, and a cash bar. Bring the whole family!

The talk is at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 8th at the Slover Library. It’s free and open to the public.
