ITS System Maintenance - November 6
ITS System Maintenance will be conducted Sunday, November 6, 2016. Specific services that will be impacted include:
Between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.:
Access to the following systems will be intermittent:
- Network Connectivity – For approximately 2 hours starting shortly after midnight, most of Webb Center will be without network or phone connectivity.
Between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.:
Access to the following systems will be intermittent:
- MIDAS (midas.odu.edu)
- Footprints (ITS Incident Tracking)
- Madison Digital Imaging Database (MDID)
- Room Scheduling (Resource25)
- IT Knowledge Database
- Personal Learning Environment (PLE)
- Document Imaging (BDM)
Between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.:
Access to the following systems will be intermittent:
- Banner
- Leo Online
- DegreeWorks
Between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.:
Access to the following systems will be intermittent:
- Network Connectivity – Due to upgrades, there will be a brief 5-minute network outage in: Applied Research Center, Academic Skills Center, Barry Arts Building, Child Development Center, Constant Hall, Alfriend Chemistry Building, Diehn Fine & Performing Arts Center, Old Human Resource Building, New Admin Navy ROTC, Monarch Theater
Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.:
Access to the following systems will be intermittent:
- News Website (news.odu.edu)
- Insight (Cognos)
Access to the following systems will be unavailable:
- Banner,
- Leo Online
- DegreeWorks
- Document Imaging (BDM)
The system outage and/or service disruption timeframe(s) given are approximate. The actual duration of the service disruption may be shorter or longer than posted but will never go past noon.
Please note: To maintain optimal performance, ITS performs weekly system maintenance on key services. The weekly window of service is typically on Sundays between 6 a.m. to noon.
