Tax & Travel Signature Days - all international faculty/staff/students/scholars

ATTENTION:  All international faculty, staff, students, and scholars

Each year in November, VISA holds TAX AND TRAVEL SIGNATURE DAYS which serves multiple purposes.  This event provides an opportunity for you to complete the 2017 Tax Package for the ODU and ODU Research Foundation payroll offices if you will continue to work for either employer next year.
 
You may also walk in and have your visa document signed for travel on the spot if you anticipate traveling outside the United States over the upcoming winter break

This year's Tax and Travel Signature Days will be held on:

Date:          Thursday & Friday, 17-18 November 2016
Time:          9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Location:   Conference Room, 1st Floor (map attached)
                    ODU Research Foundation
                    4111 Monarch Way 
 
2017 Tax Package:
International students/scholars on F & J visas who are planning to continue to work on campus for ODU and/or ODURF, are REQUIRED to complete the 2017 tax package.  Failure to do so may result in an interruption of pay or in your income being taxed at a higher rate.
 
If you plan to continue working on campus for any part of 2017, click here to RSVP no later than 16 November 2016 at 12 p.m.  This will ensure we have a copy of your previously completed tax forms available for your reference.

Travel Signature:
International students/scholars and their dependents on F or J visas leaving the U.S. during the upcoming break are required to have their visa document signed by VISA in to be able to re-enter the U.S.  Provided you have no registration holds, you can come in during these two days to have your visa documents signed on the spot!
