XSEDE HPC Workshop: Big Data | November 1

Dear researchers and students,

ODU Research Computing Services is going to host another XSEDE Workshop on Big Data on Tuesday, November 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This workshop focuses on scalable data processing tools such as Hadoop and Spark. The materials will be taught at an introductory level, and there will be hands-on exercises. The workshop is presented by the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) and course attendees will be given access to PSC Hadoop environment for the exercises. ODU has hosted prior XSEDE workshops and both the presentation and content are excellent.
