The Roosevelts on PBS

<p> &nbsp; Local PBS station WHRO will be repeating an earlier presentation of Ken Burns&#39; <em><strong>The Roosevelts: An Intimate History </strong></em>starting Tuesday, May 5th and running through June 23rd.&nbsp; The seven part, fourteen hour film follows these three remarkable individuals and how they shaped US history.</p> <p> &nbsp; The Village Bookstore has two great books that could offer even more insight into&nbsp; the lives of Theodore, our 26th President,, Franklin, our 32nd&nbsp;President,&nbsp;and Eleanor, the niece of Theodore and First Lady.</p> <p> Douglas Brinkley&#39;s <em><strong>&quot; The Wilderness Warrior &quot;</strong></em>&nbsp; and Doris Kearns Godwin,<em><strong> &quot; The Bully Pulpit.&quot;</strong></em></p> <p> We hope you get a chance to watch the presentation and perhaps follow-up with a book.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p>
