Reminder - Life in Hampton Roads Survey Call for Questions
<p> This is a final reminder about the call for questions for the 5th Annual Life in Hampton Roads Survey - due this Friday, 4/11. Faculty who have submitted questions in previous years are encouraged to re-submit for consideration this year. Thank you.</p> <p> The Social Science Research Center (SSRC) in the College of Arts and Letters is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Life in Hampton Roads telephone survey. The survey will be conducted in summer 2014 and will consist of a random sample of about 800 Hampton Roads residents. The SSRC encourages submission of potential survey questions from interested faculty to cover areas that are directly related to the quality of life in the region. Below are some general topic areas:</p> <p> </p> <p> • Arts and Culture</p> <p> • Crime</p> <p> • Economy</p> <p> • Education</p> <p> • Environment</p> <p> • Healthcare</p> <p> • Housing</p> <p> • Local/state government</p> <p> • Media/communications</p> <p> • Military</p> <p> • Transportation</p> <p> A committee will review the questions submitted and select questions to be included in the final survey protocol. The final survey data will be made available to the University community for use in scholarly publication and research. Faculty members may submit up to five (5) questions for consideration to be included in the survey.
