New Fall Online Course: Banned Books!

<p> <strong>ENG 395L: Banned Books will discuss works such as The Hunger Games, Slaughterhouse Five, The Bluest Eye, Harry Potter and more!</strong></p> <p> This asynchronous online course explores the struggle between censorship and intellectual freedom in American public schools and libraries. Students read, analyze, and discuss a selection of challenged young adult novels and elementary books. In addition, they will examine the process of challenging literature, cases of book-banning, and preventative measures of censorship.
