Fri Apr 4: User-Defined Models in a Virtual Machine

Title: Synthesizing User-Defined Models in a Domain-Specific Virtual Machine
Speaker: Peter J. Clarke, Florida International University
Date: Friday, April 4, 2014
Time: 10:30 AM
Place: E & CS Building, First Floor Auditorium
Brief Abstract:We build domain-specific models that are directly available to domain experts. These models are interpreted immediately at runtime rather than undergoing a series of transformations prior to execution. This talk will focus on our work on developing a generic design for the synthesis engine, currently one of the most development intensive modules in the creation of a new domain specific model.
Longer Abstract:http://webspace.cs.odu.edu/~ibl/public/colloquium/spr14/clarke.txt
