Golf Carts On Sidewalks
<p> Just a reminder that driving golf carts and other unlicensed vehicles on city sidewalks is illegal. This includes both sides of 48th & 49th Sts, Bluestone, 43rd St, Powhatan Ave and all sidewalks on the east side of and including Hampton Blvd. Operation on interior campus sidewalks is permitted because they are not city owned. Golf carts are only authorized to be operated on city streets bordering the campus. Remember that the red/orangle triangular slow moving sign is required when operating in the street. If directional signals are not installed use hand signals to indicate your intention to turn.
