Veteran Suicide Movie Screening and Discussion
<p> The numbers of suicides in the veteran population are extremely high (1 every 65 minutes). This Wednesday, March 19th at 6:00 pm in the Chesapeake Room of the Webb Center, we will be hosting a film screening of <em>Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1</em>, followed by a facilitated discussion with contributors from the Hampton Veterans Affairs, Norfolk Vet Center, Vet Success Counselor April Miller and Dr. Kathleen Levingston from the Military Connection Center. We will talk about red flags, resources, and prevention as well as other considerations. Kathryn Hughes and Andrew Jatau of Counseling Services are co-facilitating the event.</p>
