Mardi Gras @ Club Perry

<p> News Release: February 20, 2014&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (for immediate use)</p> <p align="center"> <strong>Old Dominion University Libraries</strong></p> <p align="center"> <strong><u>Mardi Gras@ Club Perry</u></strong></p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;Tuesday, March 4<sup>th</sup></p> <p align="center"> 6-8pm in the Learning Commons</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> In the fall, a parade of Zombies stalked Perry Library. To celebrate spring&mdash;and a carnival of learning resources--ODU faculty, staff, and students are invited to Mardi Gras@Club Perry on Tuesday, Mach 4 from 6-8 pm.</p> <p> Stations decorated as Mardi Gras floats will represent the university&rsquo;s three libraries, Student Success Center, Classroom Central, Student Government Association, and The Starving Artists. A mini Mardi Gras exhibit will be feature books, music, and DVDs. And a LibGuide on Mardi Gras will be provided on the library website.&nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> There will be prizes, games, music and face painting. Lots of prizes will be awarded. . .</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> The first two to get thru all of the stations will receive money on their Monarch Plus accounts--sponsored by the Library.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> A&ldquo;shoebox float&rdquo; contest winner will receive $15 in Monarch Plus.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> A King and Queen will be crowned for the male and female with the most beads. They will receive $50 into their Monarch Plus accounts sponsored by the Student Success Center.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> Student Government Association will host a Spinning Prize Wheel with donations from the University Bookstore.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> Find the hidden baby in the King Cake to win a spin at the prize wheel.</p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <td> <div> <p align="center"> <strong>Contact: &nbsp;Elizabeth M.
