Win an IPAD AIR by signing up to receive your W2 Electronically
<p> Dear ODU Employee:</p> <p> It’s almost that time again! Tax season is fast approaching and the Office of Finance wants you to be well prepared by signing up to receive your W2 electronically.</p> <p> The Electronic W-2 sign-up process takes less than five minutes and involves just the click of a button. But hurry! If you do not consent to receive your W-2 electronically by the January 22, 2014 deadline, you may receive a paper Form W-2 instead.</p> <p> If you have already consented to receive your W-2 electronically, no action is required.</p> <p> Oh, and to sweeten the pot and celebrate the New Year, we’re giving away an IPAD AIR. All employees who are currently receiving Electronic W-2 forms as well as those who sign up on or before January 22, 2014 will be eligible to participate. However, only employees who are actively employed on the drawing date of February 3, 2014 will be eligible to win.</p> <p> By signing up for Electronic W-2 forms, you are ensuring that you won’t have to wait to view your tax information, your W-2 will not be lost or delayed in the mail, and you will be able to view your tax information at any time without worrying about filling out paperwork to get copies of your W-2. Other benefits include a reduced environmental impact and university savings on printing and mailing costs.</p> <p> To sign up now, just log into LEO Online at <a href="https://www.leoonline.odu.edu/">https://www.leoonline.odu.edu</a> and follow these quick steps:</p> <ol> <li> Click “Employee”<br /> </li> <li> Click “Tax Forms”<br /> </li> <li> Click “Electronic W-2 Consent”<br /> </li> <li> Read the terms of consent<br /> </li> <li> Under “Selection Criteria,” check the box for “Consent to receive W-2 electronically”<br /> </li> <li> Click “Submit”</li> </ol> <p> That’s it! There is no confirmation message that you have successfully consented. Simply scroll down to see if the box located under “My Choice” is checked. If it is, you have successfully consented to receive your W-2 electronically. </p> <p> Please note you can cancel your consent at any time.</p> <p> Once you have submitted your consent, you will receive notification via e-mail and/or University Announcement when your electronic W-2 is available for you to print.
