<p> </p> <p align="center"> <strong>Engineers Week Open House - <u>Friday, February 14, 2014</u></strong></p> <p align="center"> <strong>Engineers Week Contest & Activity Day - <u>Saturday, February 15, 2014.</u></strong></p> <p> Old Dominion University will celebrate National Engineers’ Week and we are very excited about our Annual Engineering Open House Event. We appreciate your assistance in notifying students and other interested individuals about the opportunities available at these exciting events and look forward to seeing you there!</p> <p> <u>On Friday, February 15,</u> the college will host an Open House beginning at 9:00 a.m. This event is intended to introduce students to the field of engineering. Engineering lab tours will provide the opportunity for attendees to witness interesting demonstrations. Representatives from professional and student engineering clubs and societies will be present, as well as student projects like the Mini Baja Buggy and Scale Formula One Racer.</p> <p> <u>On Saturday, February 16</u>, hands on activities and engineering design competitions will be held for middle and high school students. These competitions are designed to be age appropriate and test inventiveness and skills.
