She notes that, if assistance is needed in the preparation of online courses, the CLT staff at ODU, well experienced in the teaching of many methodologies that can be used in the preparation for an online class, can be helpful.

Dr. Sharpe looks forward to leading this important Conversation, since she believes that it is important for teachers of online courses – which are becoming more and more popular at ODU – to share experiences and information.

For more information about the Provost’s Conversations on Teaching and Learning series, including highlights from past years’ Conversations and a calendar of upcoming Conversation dates, visit the Conversations’ website at http://clt.odu.edu/pctl.
