Copy Central Card Swipe *change*
<p> All,</p> <p> After careful review and analysis of Copy Central’s administrative processes, we need to streamline our billing process and become more efficient as our MFD fleet has grown approximately 25%.</p> <p> Using the card swipe is an automatic billing process that is very quick and accurate while manual billing takes a minimum of 8 to 12 hours each month for machines that are open for copying.</p> <p> <strong><u>Starting 6/16/13</u></strong>, Copy Central will implement activating the card swipe on all Xerox 6400 and 7545 models for all functions on the machine. The machines will no longer be allowed to be “open” for copying. This means that a card will be needed to use any/all function on the machines.</p> <p> Copy Central can provide a “department” card if you currently do not have one (the BUD will need to send me an email requesting the card(s) and what budget code to charge). A detailed log of the card's use must be maintained at all times.</p> <p> We hope this will not cause any inconveniences and will provide accurate and timely billing.</p> <p> If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.
