Dr. Bruce Riedel of the Brookings Institution to speak at O.D.U.
<p> Bruce Riedel, Director of the Intelligence Project at the Brookings Institution, will speak at O.D.U. on Monday, April 29th at 5pm in BAL 1012. He talk will center on his latest book, "Avoiding Armageddon: America, India and Pakistan to the Brink and Back."</p> <p> Dr. Riedel was a senior advisor on South Asia and the Middle East to the last four Presidents of the United States. He served for 30 years in the Central Intelligence Agency and was also Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for the Near East and South Asia at the Pentagon and a senior advisor at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Brussels. </p> <p> Please join us for a stimulating discussion and to gain unique insights into some of the most complicated national security issues that we fact today!</p>
