Shred Event -- ODU Lot 1 -- April 27
<p> A portion of ODU Lot 1 (WHRO) will be used for a community shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27, to benefit CHKD.</p> <p> The Shred-it trucks and donors' car lanes will be set up to minimize disruption to regular users of the lot.</p> <p> The shredding event is open to the public as a fundraiser for Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Cost is a minimum donation of $5 per paper ream box or grocery bag. Old tax records, bank statements and other private paper documents are welcome. Cash only; tax receipts will be available.</p> <p> Shred-it mobile service and the Circle of Hope of The King's Daughters are sponsors of this community event. Call 668-7098 for more information.</p>
