"An Afternoon of Contemporary Song"

<p align="center"> <strong><em>&ldquo;An Afternoon of Contemporary Song&rdquo;</em></strong></p> <p align="center"> <strong><em>&nbsp;To Be Held March 21</em></strong></p> <p> The Old Dominion University Libraries presents its 9<sup><font size="2">th</font></sup> annual student concert, &ldquo;An Afternoon of Contemporary Song,&rdquo; featuring ODU vocal students under the direction of Brian Nedvin, on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 12:30-1:15 pm in the Diehn Composers Room.</p> <p> The series was created by the Library to provide students with the opportunity to perform for the University community and to celebrate 20<sup><font size="2">th</font></sup> century composition.&nbsp;</p> <p> Vocal students will perform songs such as &ldquo;Tigaroo,&rdquo; &ldquo;The Prayer,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Perfect&rdquo; from <em>Edges</em> among other works.</p> <p> The University Libraries&rsquo; Diehn Composers Room is located in Room 189 of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public and is made possible by a grant from the F.
