Wonât You Help Us Fill the Thanksgiving Food Boxes?
<p> </p> <p> The campus community has not let us down yet, and we’re counting on all ODU employees once more to demonstrate their spirit of giving and help make the 2013 HACE Thanksgiving Food Drive a success.</p> <p> HACE has received a record 181 nominations this year – these are your fellow employees at the university who could truly use a little extra help over the Thanksgiving holiday. Your donations of nonperishable foods (plus monetary donations that go toward the purchase of grocery store gift cards for turkeys) are very much needed.</p> <p> We only have 70 collection sites throughout the campus, and too many of those boxes, frankly, are looking a bit anemic. We desperately need your help to fill them up this week. Monday, Nov. 25, is the final day to bring in your food. But please don’t wait until then. Let’s fill those boxes now.</p> <p> HACE is hopeful that there will be enough items donated for us to give a food box to each of the 181 nominees, so won’t you help?
