Let's Fill the HACE Thanksgiving Food Boxes!
<p> Only two weeks remain in the HACE Thanksgiving food drive, and we need your help filling the boxes around campus! Please remember to bring in your donation of nonperishable food items. This annual event cannot be a success without the support of our campus community. </p> <p> The Thanksgiving food boxes that HACE volunteers assemble go to our fellow ODU employees -- those in the lowest pay grades who could use a little extra help over the holiday. We believe the food drive is a wortwhile endeavor and one where we, as a community, can come together and show our spirit of giving for a good cause -- one right in our own backyard. </p> <p> Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted and will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards, which recipients can use to buy a turkey or other Thanksgiving food items. Financial contributions (cash or checks made out to HACE) can be sent to Donna Bean, HACE treasurer, in the Office of Finance (204B Rollins Hall) or given to the food box representative in your area.</p> <p> For questions, contact Steve Daniel at 683-3093 or sdaniel@odu.edu.</p> <p> Thanks in advance for your support of this campus-wide effort!</p>
