Commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation

<p> The Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity will commemorate the 150<sup><font size="2">th</font></sup> Anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from <strong>7:00 - 9:00 PM </strong>in the<strong> University Webb Center - North Cafeteria</strong>.&nbsp; The theme of the program is &ldquo;What is <strong>FREEDOM</strong> and who defines it?&rdquo;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> For additional information contact Melvina Sumter at <a href="mailto:msumter@odu.edu">msumter@odu.edu</a></p>
