Vets and Military Kickoff
<p> You are cordially invited to the Veterans and Students Affiliated with the Military (SAM) Kickoff celebration on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11am -2pm in the Student Success Center courtyard. Join us for an afternoon of food, family, and fun! </p> <p> SAM is a Peer Educator Program, designed to provide academic, professional, and transitional support to active-duty personnel, veterans, reservists, spouses, and dependents.</p> <p> The program provides students with three different types of assistance:</p> <p style="margin-left:.5in;"> · <strong>Peer Mentorship</strong></p> <p style="margin-left:.5in;"> · <strong>Peer Tutoring</strong></p> <p style="margin-left:.5in;"> · <strong>Academic Coaching</strong></p> <p> SAM’s mentors are students who are affiliated with the military as well as student veterans.
