Lung Cancer Seminar

Canoles Jr. Cancer Research Center</p> <p> Eastern Virginia Medical School</p> <p> </p> <p> We and others discovered that NKX2-1 is recurrently amplified in human lung cancer, implicating that NKX2-1 is an oncogene. Later studies suggest that NKX2-1 exhibits anti-oncogenic activities. By connecting NKX2-1 to the microRNA signaling network, we afford new insight on the dual functionalities of this critical lung cancer gene.</p>
