February 1 Colloquium: Global Forms of Political Satire

<p> Arts and Letters Colleagues and Graduate Students:<br /> <br /> Please make plans to attend the upcoming College colloquium event Friday February 1st&nbsp; at 3 p.m. on &quot;Global Forms of Political Satire,&quot; featuring the Humanities Institute&#39;s Fulbright Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow, Marjo Kolehmainen, from the University of Tampere, Finland, and the Institute&#39;s director, Dr. Jeffrey Jones.&nbsp; Kohelmainen will talk about her dissertation research on the Finnish animated political satire show, The Autocrats. Jones will discuss his new co-edited collection, &quot;News Parody and Political Satire across the Globe.&quot; This event will be held in BAL 9024.
