Forum on ODU Distance Learning, Friday 11/30

<p> Dear Colleagues,</p> <p> On Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Constant Hall 1002 Andy Casiello and several of the management team of the Distance Learning operation will report on the outcomes of the committee&rsquo;s efforts, as well as provide updates on distance learning enrollment trends, site operations, online program development, and technology planning. &nbsp;Specifically, Distance Learning will demonstrate its online delivery platform as well as some new tools for two-way live connectivity. &nbsp;Details of the online program revenue share plan and the available support services for growing online programs will be presented.&nbsp; There will also be information presented about Distance Learning&#39;s marketing and advertising support services for programs available via distance learning delivery technologies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p> I encourage you to come to the forum to hear about what ODU is doing to maintain its strategic advantage in this area and what you can do to get more involved in this growing and exciting mode of education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p> Best wishes,</p> <p> Carol</p> <p> ******************************</p> <p> Carol Simpson, Ph.D.</p> <p> Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs</p> <p> Old Dominion University</p>
