QEP Workshops -- Spring 2013
<p> We are recruiting faculty in each college who are willing to stretch their minds to learn how to better stretch their students' minds. The QEP focuses on full-time faculty teaching undergraduate, upper level (300 and 400-level) courses. We encourage faculty teaching these courses to <strong>apply to the <em>Learning through Writing </em>Faculty Workshops</strong> to learn how to enhance learning through writing in ways that will not burden you with grading! Topics include: Stretching our Minds, Does it Have to be a 20-page Paper, That’s Not How WE Do it, Throw Me a Lifeline, and How to Assign Writing When Writing is Hard to Do. <strong>Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend for attending the workshop and refreshments including lunch.
