ODU ensembles in German music program

Bach</p> <p> The 17- member Collegium includes players of lute, gamba, recorder, and guitar.</p> <p> This is the FIRST PERFORMANCE using ODU's new set of SACKBUTS. Made by a specialist in Kansas, this is, we believe, the first consort of sackbuts by an American builder! And it is a really fine set of instruments. Professor Mike Hall coordinated the purchase of these instruments and leads the student ensemble. He will also play the earliest (?) known sonata for alto sackbut and harpsichord.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
