Extending Access to the Scholarship on JSTOR
<p align="center"> <strong>Extending Access to the Scholarship on JSTOR</strong></p> <p> The University Libraries is presenting “Extending Access to the Scholarship on JSTOR,” by Jason Phillips, Director of Institutional Participation and Strategic Partnerships for ITHAKA, on Wednesday, October 24<sup>th</sup>. There will be a reception at 6:00 p.m. in rooms 1310-1311, followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.</p> <p> Jason leads JSTOR and Portico's library relationships, working with the global library community to provide archival, managed preservation, strategic research, and access services to JSTOR, Portico, and ITHAKA S+R. </p> <p> He speaks at conferences on issues related to scholarly publishing, extending access to content important to scholarly work, and the effect of technology on teaching and learning.</p> <p> Jason holds an MBA from American University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Library Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.</p> <p> This event is free, but seating is limited.
