Celebrate Congo Week @ODU

<p> Join the global call to action and celebrate Congo Week at ODU Oct 14-20th. Monday, October 15th Minds About Progress and African Cultural Association present a film screening and discussion entitled, &quot;Crisis in the Congo: Uncovering the Truth&quot; at 7pm in Potomac River Room, Webb Center. Wednesday, October 17th &quot;Stand Up to Cell Out&quot; join Minds About Progress in observing a &quot;digital moment of silence&quot; to bring attention to the issue of coltan and violence in the Congo on Kaufman Mall from 11:30-12:30pm. Thursday, October 18th, Africa: Continent Deconstructed sponsored by Office of Intercultural Relations. October 7-20 Minds About Progress Technology Drive for Congo Connect Youth Project. Please donate used cellphones, game consoles, iPods, laptops, and small electronics. Drop off locations include BAL 6038, Village Bldg 2 (Front Desk), and Office on Intercultural Relations 2114 Webb Center.&nbsp;</p>
